National Night Out

Saginaw Township celebrates its emergency responders, at the 9th annual National Night Out.  Many demonstrations will be offered, in a night that brings the public up close and personal with its emergency personnel and  strengthens police-community partnerships. There will be live music and lots of fun activities for children.

Volunteers needed to distribute CAN Council materials and assist with a children’s activity.

D.E.A.R at the Zoo

The READ Association of Saginaw County presents the 11th Annual D.E.A.R at the Zoo (Drop Everything And Read).

Volunteers needed for a variety of activities throughout the day to distribute CAN Council materials and assist with a children’s activity.

Jazz on Jefferson

Jazz on Jefferson is the annual event that kicks -off summer in Saginaw, Michigan.  Carriage rides, historic buildings and Strawberry Shortcake centering at the Castle Museum.

Volunteers needed to distribute CAN Council materials and assist with children’s activity, all while enjoying the jazz festivities.

Parade begins on Water Street and proceeds over the W. Genesee bridge to Michigan Avenue, continues over the Court Street bridge and ends on Ojibway Island.
