SEXTING: Penalties and Consequences

What is sexting?

What are the legal ramifications?

Can a person be prosecuted and serve time in jail for simply sending a sext?

What are the social consequences?

One of the fastest growing areas with our youth, and the area with the least known consequences! CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region offers a one hour SEXTING presentation for teenagers that addresses not only the legal penalties, but the social embarrassments as well. Once a sext is out there…who knows where it will go! Numerous students have already participated in the SEXTING presentation and learned the possible negative outcomes of sexting.
