Annual Fund
Making a donation of cash is as simple as writing a check or authorizing a charge on your credit card. By clicking on the ‘Donate Now’ button you can authorize a charge to your account. If writing a check, simply mail to: 1311 N. Michigan, Saginaw, MI 48602. If making a cash donation, please deliver in person.
Become a Take a Stand for Children Society Member
Make your decision to give a simple one. Pledge at least $500 per year for a minimum of 5 years. You will help us plan for the future and you will not be solicited by the CAN Council to give. Please contact Delores Gale, Development Director for your pledge form.
Bequests and Other Planned Giving

Memorial or Honorarium
Honor the memory of a deceased relative, friend or business acquaintance by making a donation in his/her name. A tasteful card will be mailed to the family and a donor acknowledgment will be mailed to you. How about giving a gift to honor the living as well—birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays are perfect opportunities to make a gift to honor a special person in your life.
Gifts of Assets
Donate jewelry, antiques, art, or vehicles you no longer value or have an interest in. The CAN Council will liquidate these assets and use the funds to support our programming.
Become a Corporate Sponsor
If you are a business owner and would like to increase your community visibility, become a sponsor for our Annual Auction, Annual Golf Outing, or other special event. Many times these sponsorships include perks such as tickets and/or advertising,
Workplace and Matching Gift
Find out if your company participates in a matching gift program. Many companies encourage employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions. Some companies may even match gifts made by retirees or spouses of employees. Request a matching gift form and program guidelines from your employer. Complete the ‘Employee’ section of the form, make your contribution and send it to the attention of Delores Gale, CAN Council, 1311 N. Michigan, Saginaw, MI 48602. We will complete the form and forward it to your employer’s matching gifts office for processing.
Auction Items & Other Special Events
Our annual auction is our largest fundraising activity. Consider donating an item for auction and make plans to attend the event. Donations of other new items can be utilized in our golf outing and other special events.

Endowment
In 2001, the CAN Council created an endowment fund, administered by the Saginaw Community Foundation. This endowment creates a perpetual source of funding for our child abuse prevention programs. For more information, click here for Endowment.
