Baby Academy

Parenting is tough stuff; the Baby Academy offers a variety of child-rearing resources all in one place. CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region will bring together local experts and parenting resources to their annual Saginaw County Community Baby Academy on Saturday, May 11th from 10am – 1:30pm at Ascension St. Mary’s Health Education Center, 800 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw MI.

On a first-come, first-served basis, participants will select from several breakout session options, including:• Breastfeeding

• Self-Care
• Reading Over Screen Time
• Infant CPR
• Effects of Domestic Violence on Children
• Safe Sleep
• Simply Dads
• Nutrition

Expectant parents and parents with babies up to 1-year-old are welcome to attend. Grandparents and other key support persons are invited as well. Admission is $2 per person (parent, family member, etc.) and $10 for each childcare professional.
