Description

BE A POWERFUL ADVOCATE IN A CHILD’S LIFE: BE A CASA.
Every abused or neglected child needs a caring, consistent adult to advocate for his or her well-being.

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a volunteer who devotes time to advocate for children who are in the court system due to abuse or neglect. The CASA is a source of stability to children during a confusing time that no child should ever have to endure.

The next training series begins Monday, October 29th at 5:30pm – 9pm at the CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region – Saginaw County office. Please note that this training will be held every Monday from October 29th until December 17th. Those who complete the full training will be sworn-in with the court the week of January 7th.
