The CAN Council’s 24th Annual Roof Sit is returning to McDonald’s Food & Family Center on February 7th!
This initiative was started by the CAN Council in Huron County prior to their affiliation with The CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region, and features various teams rotating hour-long shifts on the roof of McDonald’s Food & Family Center. This is all done in an effort to raise both funds for and awareness of the programs and services offered by the CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region.
All proceeds from this event will benefit child abuse prevention programs in Huron County. This year’s fundraising goal is $15,000. We know that with your help, we can make it happen!
The deadline for teams to register is January 24th, 2020. Teams are encouraged to begin fundraising now up until the date of the event. If your business is unable to have a team to participate in the Roof Sit, but you would still like to raise funds for our prevention efforts, please consider hosting any type of fundraising event such as a Casual for a Cause Day, bake sale, or penny drive. Whether you join us on the roof or not, your support is greatly appreciated as it will allow us to protect more children and strengthen more families!
